5. Luminara AI Assistant and OpenAI
When the chat panel opens, OpenAI, L.L.C., USA, may generate a general greeting. For this, only the selected website language and a random, non-personal variation cue are sent; no question, chat history, page path, browser content, other visitor data, or repository data is sent for that purpose.
When you then ask a question and give prior consent, your question, the limited chat history displayed in your browser, selected language, page path, and matching public website excerpts are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Do not enter confidential or sensitive personal data.
Processing of your question and displayed chat history is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn for future requests at any time by not using the chat further and resetting the browser chat history. This does not affect requests already sent.
This website keeps the transcript only in your browser session storage and does not store a chat
transcript on its server. The request to OpenAI uses store: false. According to
OpenAI, content may nevertheless be processed in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days. See

for its data processing information.
